Until recently, grilled trout was prescribed by doctors thanks to its regenerative properties. 'A grilled trout a day will keep the gout away' was the common phrase. After a study by the Cook's Guild in far-off Varrock, however, it was found that regular eaters of grilled trout were 20% more likely to contract gout.
Don't let that stop you enjoying the bitter notes of a trout. The Cook's Guild did a study and found that 75% of gout-inflicted people thought it was totally worth it.
