Магия is one of the skills in Runescape: Dragonwilds and was released in Update 0.8. Magic is one of the three combat styles players can use. Combat spells can be cast to efficiently fight monsters from a distance, whereas utility spells have numerous uses.

In addition, players can gain experience from Magic Skill Tomes and special reward tomes like the Tome of the Dragon Slayer.

Weapons

Magic weapons currently consist only of staffs, of which there are several varieties. Staffs provide a passive rune damage multiplier to provide additional damage. Staffs are a two-handed weapon; thus, players cannot equip shields while wielding staffs.

Armour

Players can earn set bonuses when wearing armour of the same combat type (i.e., melee, ranged, magic) and can mix and match within that type. For example, a player wearing a ranger hat (ranged), dragonkin mage robes (magic), and necromancer's robe bottom (magic) will get the second tier of magic set bonuses and the first tier of ranged set bonuses. The magic armour set bonuses are:

• 1/3 -50% stamina regen delay
• 2/3 +17.5% magic attack speed
• 3/3 +15% magic crit chance

Runes

Runes are used when casting spells. Currently, only air runes and fire runes can be used for combat magic. Players can select which elemental rune they want to autocast by going to the second tab of the inventory and right-clicking on the desired rune.

Consumables

Magical Focus is a craftable item unlocked at level 39 Магия where players can imbue their equipped staff with a 15% damage multiplier for 10 minutes.

Utility spells

Players unlock utility spells by levelling various skills, including but not limited to Magic. Some utility spells can assist with combat, while other spells are strictly used for skilling or gathering materials more quickly.

Spellbook (menu)

Players can access the Spell Book menu by pressing the P-button (default).

The left half of the menu shows a list of available/unavailable utility spells. Unavailable spells are greyed out, meaning the player has not met the skill requirement to unlock the spell. Players can hover over the icon for a description of each spell.

The right half of the menu shows the spellbook players can customise with up to 12 utility spells they have unlocked. Players can drag-and-drop or point-and-click the desired utility spells to the spellbook. Players can also cycle between four different spellbooks for added customisation.

Spellbook (wheel)

Players can access their customised spellbooks by pressing the Q-button (default), which will open the wheel whilst still seeing the player's surroundings. Players can cycle between their four spellbook loadouts and point-and-click the desired utility spell, which will automatically exit the interface.

Boosts

Players can consume potions, eat food, or equip trinkets to increase Magic experience received or damage dealt.

Unlike most other skills however, there are no Магия experience potions.

• Lesser Magic Potion - Increases the chance of landing critical hits with magic by 25% for 10 minutes (600 seconds)
• Sweet veg ball - Grants a 10% XP boost for 5 minutes (300 seconds)
• Wild pie - Grants a 10% XP boost for 10 minutes (600 seconds)
• Inspiring amulet of Magic - Provides a 5% XP boost to Magic while worn
• Glazed pumpkin sandwich - provides 10% XP boost for 10 minutes (600 seconds)
• Amulet of Magic - Increases magic damage by 12.5% while worn
• Unholy symbol - Increases all damage by 15% while lowering maximum HP by 15 points.
• Amulet of glory - Increases critical damage to all combat style
