Garou magic is not born of runes, but of their connection to the moon, the stars and the spirits within them. Moon Garou shamans dance in the moonlight, with the glittering moon sprites swirling around them in mystical threads that help to reshape reality. Magic is sacred, spiritual and serene. Shamans wears these robes so that the tribe may know to call on them for spiritual aid, both magical and personal, as the shamans act as counsel as much as magician.

A Moon Garou shaman must walk the deserts before they can be truly considered magi in their own right. They wander, explore and contemplate the loneliness of the sands as they do so.

Some hear voices, believing them to be ancestors, deities, spirits or just their own internal monologue trying to dull the silence. Others find a profound calm in the silence, many choosing to live a quiet life in return.

Others, find monsters. There are many shamans who report that they did battle with the terrible demons creeping out from Dowdun Reach. Others battled kalphites, KotHaar or even dragons. One claims to have battled a creature that rose out of smoke, whimpering and wailing as it went, and it left the shaman’s mind shattered in return.

Yet, no matter how far the shamans wander, eventually they all found their way home, enlightened and enriched, and ready to serve their people.
