The desert is a cruel and unforgiving place, and that was before Fuzan corrupted the sun against it. Dry air, filled with sand particles, leech all moisture from the body, leaving you dehydrated, exhausted and with no respite in view. Oases can be mirages, tricks played by the dunes to lure you deeper into your own destruction. These robes help to limit some of the desert’s power, through ancient tricks learned by those who have dwelled within the dunes for generations.

The hood is the most basic necessity of the desert. It shields the top of one’s head from the sun’s cruel ministrations, acting as a barrier between sunstroke and you. The hood also helps protect against particulates of sand that have been stirred up by meagre breezes.

The overhanging fabric shields the eyes from the light, just a little. A tiny point of shade in a glaring light that’s almost crushing in its brightness.

Finally, they’re surprisingly fashionable, everyone should try one.
