Pumpkin
Pumpkins are a Power Level 4 raw ingredient, which means they can be cooked at a campfire or grill into roast pumpkin starting at Cooking level 41, and not burnt into burnt pumpkin at level 50. They can be gathered from pumpkin (plant)s in Fellhollow and Dowdun Reach and Farmed from Pumpkin (Farming) grown from pumpkin seeds. Pumpkins can not be used as an item in a compost bin, however can be used in a super compost bin.

They seem strange without faces, don't they?
Heralds of the spookiest of seasons, the humble pumpkin exists in two worlds, the world of the living and that of the dead. When carved, it acts as a warden against dangerous spirits and when mixed with spices and added to warm drinks, it acts as a lure for ex-girlfriends, distracting them as it gives you time to escape.
Trivia
- In 2001, during the Hallowe'en event, pumpkins were dropped in the main RuneScape game. Since then, they have not been re-released in the main game and exist in a finite amount. In Old School RuneScape, this item has been released again in 2013. They can be obtained during the Hallowe'en holiday events.
- In the journal entry, it is specified that pumpkins (when mixed with spices and added to warm drinks) can be used to distract ex-girlfriends. This is a reference to the pumpkin spice latte typically made in the fall season.
