Pristine sardine is a Power Level 2 raw ingredient, which means it can be cooked at a campfire, grill, or with Infernal Rod into 3 fried sardines starting at Cooking level 12, and not burnt into 3 burnt sardines at level 27. It can also be used to make Pristine Sardine Trophy. It can be gathered from rod fishing spots with ideally an ash rod in Temple Woods and Bramblemead Valley at level 3 Fishing. Using shrimp bait increases the chance of catching one. It is the pristine variant of a raw sardine.

There is a popular game among children, where they hide themselves around the house and then other children join them once their hiding place has been discovered. It was a game clearly invented by very tired parents, who wanted to make sure their kids were well behaved and contained in a well-known location. After all, where else can you fit seventeen children if not for the wardrobe?

Sadly for Gielinor's fisherfolk, the creature with the namesake of said children's game, do not possess the same desire to make their captors life easier. Fortunately, however, they are numerous enough that one need not worry themselves too much about the difficulty of catching them.
