The mithril warhammer was once the weapon most associated with Lord Rasmodel of Dowdun Reach. He was rarely seen without it. In the mornings, when he was most in pain, it would be a prop, something to lean on while the night's watch recounted the events of the early hours. In the afternoons, it was a beautiful warning, a threat of what might happen if you disobeyed him.

Lord Rasmodel wasn't one for naming his weapons. He found the custom a little juvenile. But when his thoughts were elsewhere, you might see him pat the head of the warhammer. There was kinship there, even if he wouldn't admit it.
