Hearty fortifying soup is a consumable food item that can be crafted by combining bittercap mushrooms with onions at a cooking pot. When consumed, it provides moderate sustenance, 5 lifeward, and gives the Fungal Fortitude perk, granting resistance to Poison buildup by 33% for 300 seconds. There is also a 5% chance to produce a rat roast whilst making hearty fortifying soup.

The Wild Knights would prepare this soup before heading into the poisonous Bloodblight Swamp, or when facing venomous monsters. The mushrooms would absorb some of the toxins they encountered, and the soup would be filling enough to last them through the long journeys.
