Wear the skin of your enemies, so that they know to fear you! This is the ranger way, to dress themselves in the outer layers of weaker dragons so that they larger dragons know not to mess with them.

Love makes fools of all of us. Infatuation more so, especially one-sided. Bilar was in love, so he claimed. He spoke of her beauty. He spoke of her acumen. He spoke of… well, he spoke a lot about things that you do not repeat in polite society. He wanted her and he wanted the ultimate gift to win her affection: a dragon’s heart.

Yet, dragons are unwilling to part with such a vital organ, and Bilar had to get creative. He found a dead dragon, one that had been slain in battle with a rival, and he decided to skin it. With it’s scaley hide in his possession he spent weeks fashioning powerful armour from the remains, until he had an outfit that resembled the creature he hunted.

So dressed, he set out towards the great stone circle near Emberwood, knowing that a dragon had recently made it its home. He would slay it, claim its heart and present it to the woman he loved and she would surely agree to be his forever.
