It is said that this ring was first created by a traveling chef, a visitor from strange lands who sought culinary adventure. They experimented with a wide range of dishes, consuming foods thought unnatural by some, always looking for the next best meal.

When they found a meal that did not fill them with revulsion, they would don this ring so that they might savor the meal far longer than before.
