Dragoncurse Shield

The dragoncurse shield is a power level 5 masterwork shield that is obtained from the Withering Heights reward pack by completing Withering Heights. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's bench after obtaining an undead draconic visage from the same pack or from turning in Imaru's head to Death afterwards, although it will require another anti-dragon shield. It can be ascended at the mystic forge using ascension cores.

Its special effect causes a spectral dragon claw to rise from the ground and deal 25 damage to and pull enemies slightly away from the player. Unlike the dragonblight shield, the effect does not scale with power level. It has a 20 second internal cooldown. This damage will interrupt a stagger caused by a parry. Despite not being listed, this shield also has Dragon Breath Resistance, the special effect of the anti-dragon shield, which provides the ability to block dragon fire.

As long as the target is not immune to poison (like green dragons) and poison is not being applied from another source (like Venomous Trapper, poisoned arrows, or weapon poison), then the dragonblight shield's effect is better because the damage scales with power level, dealing more total damage over time, and it doesn't interrupt staggers. That being said, fallen hoplite's aspis will also have more block value and toktz-ket-xil will have increased melee crit damage after a parry, but reduced block value.
