Blue dragons, also known as lesser blue dragons are power level 6 dragons found in Dowdun Reach. They are said to have lightning-based abilities and drop blue dragon hide upon death.

Attacks

• Lunge
• Tail sweep (if behind them)
• Electric Claw Slash
• Lightning Blast: The blue dragon launches a blue lightning projectile to build up around the three-quarters point.
• Fire Breath: The blue dragon sweeps the area in front of them with their fire breath.
• Wing Attack: The blue dragon flaps its wings, blowing wind at the player, with the second such blast doing damage.
• Fly: The blue dragon can fly into the sky and do a few moves: Fire Breath: The blue dragon shoots their breath in a line going away from them. This staggers the player and can easily lock them to take all of the damage.Flame Whirlwind: After a short wind-up, the blue dragon creates a whirlwind of fire below them as they fly into the air. When they come back down, the whirlwind disappears.Lightning Surge: The blue dragon will unleash a surge of electrical energy twice; the second time will expand reach.

Lacrussa, the creator of the lesser blue dragons, saw life in a different way to you or I. While we might approach a new creature with wariness or curiosity, Lacrussa would approach it with an intellectual hunger. The creature would be mentally dissected for its physical suitability, its cognitive capacity, or its magical resonance. She would turn it in her mind, this way and that, determining how it might factor into her experiments.

Then came dissections of a more physical nature. She would cut and dice and train. She was an expert in biological reaction, forcing revulsion and attraction out of living matter. She would take the results of those combinations and cycle them through the same experiments. Cut and dice and drain.

Knowing that experimentation begat experimentation, it's hard to pinpoint the materials that gave us the lesser blue dragon. If there is one certainty, it is that Lacrussa herself is part of them.

There are indications that, around the time that the blue dragons moved to Dowdun, Lacrussa was experimenting with lightning. It is possible that Lacrussa found a means to bottle it in a lesser blue dragon.

• Unlike the blue dragons of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape, these are able to use lighting based attacks.
