Avantoe seeds are a type of Fellhollow seed, used in the Farming skill. Avantoe seeds can be used to grow avantoe in a farming plot. However, it is best to plant them in a willow farming plot.
Planting avantoe seeds in a farming plot will yield 5 experience in Farming.

Back on the mainland, the avantoe has a reputation for being a little high-maintenance. It only grows after a heavy bout of rainfall, and - even then - the bloom only lasts for a matter of hours. Get distracted, and you can miss the plant's entire life-cycle. Luckily, the climate and soil of Ashenfall means that the avantoe is less flighty than its mainland equivalent.
You can see why avantoe is the perfect reagent for stamina and agility potions. It lives its short life at speed, and leaves something of itself behind that does the same for you. As in, it can boost your stamina rather than give you a short life.
