Raw herring is a Power Level 3 raw ingredient, which means it can be cooked at a campfire, grill, or with Infernal Rod into 3 smoked herring starting at Cooking level 27, and not burnt into 3 burnt herring at level 41. It can also be used to make Pristine Herring Trophy. It can be gathered from rod fishing spots with ideally an oak rod in Fractured Plains at level 3 Fishing. Using anchovy bait increases the chance of catching one. It is the pristine variant of a raw herring.
