Fire Cape

The fire cape is a cape awarded after beating the Fight Cave activity. It is the only cape in the game that is dropped by a boss monster. When worn by the player it gives the Burning Endurance effect.

The cape previously required an ember-edged remnant of cloth vestige.

There is a bug where the cape will unequip itself from your inventory upon starting a world.

Few people can claim to wear such a symbol of their combat prowess. Forged in the heart of a volcano and enchanted with powerful magics, this ever-burning cape is a sign to the entire world that you are not someone to be messed with.

Once, long ago, the first people to forge these capes did so in secret. They bound magma to cloth, using strange magics that none to this day can replicate and they did so for fear of prophecy. They foresaw a figure of great strength and power, a warrior unlike any other, that would rise from the cinders of the Fire Caves [sic] and become either the saviour or the doom of all creation.

Such prophecies must be respected.

It is too early to say which way you will go. Whether you will destroy some terrible evil, or whether you will prove yourself to be a greater threat than any that came before you. Destiny is fickle like that. All that is known is that, for as long as you are worthy of this cape, you hold the fate of the world in your hands.
