Axtral Projection

Астральная проекция is a spell that can instantly fell trees and cut through vines blocking cave entrances. It can hit multiple trees in a single cast if they're lined up within its 30-metre range, and it can also clear stumps if the tree has already been cut down. It cannot split logs; players will need to use Splinter for that instead.

Mechanics

Players must have an axe in their inventory to cast the spell
The highest-tier axe in the player's inventory determines which trees can be chopped
Monsters caught in the spell's path take 1-3 damage and become aggressive toward the player

There is nothing trees fear more than this spell. Crafted by their ancient enemy, the lumberjack, this spell has wiped out whole legions of arboreal sentinels. Guthix taught this spell to the people of Brynmoor, hoping that it would help them expand their settlement. It worked perhaps too well, and soon entire forests would find themselves reduced to stumps. Guthix was forced to implement restrictions to the spell, preventing any but the most senior druids from using it.

Since his death this restriction has been lifted, and the trees tremble in the terror that is to come.
