Anima Vent

Anima vents are Runecrafting nodes in Ashenfall coupled with the release of Dowdun Reach, where different types of vents can convert rune essence into different types of runes. By using the player's rune essence on these vents, and depending on the strength of the vent, players can acquire runes without a rune altar. These anima vents will produce sounds and runes specific to their type.

Akin to natural resource nodes (ex: Ore nodes, natural plant spawns), these vents will periodically recharge a certain amount per game cycle. These vents can be found throughout the continent and are not region-specific.

Players can detect the nearest anima vent near them by casting Summon Elemental Spirits, unlocked at level 19 Runecrafting.
