Raw trout is a Power Level 2 raw ingredient, which means it can be cooked at a campfire, grill, or with Инфернальная удочка into grilled trout starting at Готовка level 12, and not burnt into burnt trout at level 27. It can be gathered from rod fishing spots with ideally an ash rod in Храмовый лес and Долина Брэмблмид at level 3 Рыбалка. Using feather bait increases the chance of catching one. It is the normal variant of a pristine trout.

There is little exciting one can say about trout, they have few advocates and fewer fans. Yet, they do taste delicious with a little lemon and a few herbs, so perhaps we should thank them for not being awful.

One trout was awful. A villain. A monster who rose from the depths to bring terror to us all.

Nah, just kidding – they’re trout… I got nothing.

Bonier than some of the other popular fishes, the trout is nevertheless one of the most regularly consumed freshwater fishes. Its flavour is heavily modified by its diet…which, on Ashenfall, is more than a little worrying if I’m honest.
