Поттерингтон

Поттерингтон is a family name borne by several individuals in Брэмблмид and on the mainland in Kandarin. Members of the family are associated with farming and animal husbandry, and with the cooking and crafts of the farming communities they lived in.

Abigail Potterington

Abigail Potterington created the embroidered design worn on the farmer's hat. She was six years old when she produced it. Her mother taught her the basics of embroidery, having been taught in turn by her own mother, through a line of instruction running back several generations of the family. The design was a flower, which Abigail intended to represent an oak tree. Farmers throughout Bramblemead wore the hat carrying her design to show their standing.

Old mother Potterington

Old mother Potterington cooked for the people of Bramblemead. At weekends she prepared large meals, and neighbouring farmers came to her home to eat. She extended the same care to her garden and farming patches, preparing a broth rich enough in nutrients to restore withering and wilting plants to health. Brassica Prime was credited with blessing the recipe. The method behind the broth was long thought to belong to druids and herblore masters, though a cook worked it out.

Great-Aunt Potterington

Great-Aunt Potterington lives in Kandarin and holds the largest collection of wool on the mainland.

Granny Potterington

Granny Potterington is Great-Aunt Potterington's sister. She has expanded her sheep breeding to raise her own wool production and take the title of largest collection from her sister. She once poured a super focused fishing potion into her pond in error, and the following day a single fish in the pond had eaten all the others.

A Granny Potterington appears in RuneScape 3 as the original owner of Manor Farm, north of East Ardougne in Kandarin. Her great grandmother, Prehistoric Potterington, runs the Ranch Out of Time on Anachronia.
