The Горнило кошмаров is a combat activity found within the Сумрачные пески region of Ashenfall. It is meant to act akin to RuneScape's Dominion Tower and Old School RuneScape's Nightmare Zone in where the player fights against all of the toughest enemies Ashenfall has to offer thus far.

To unlock a Nightmare Crucible, the player must use a corresponding item, called an Engram, whose title matches the Crucible of interest. An Engram only provides a single entry to a given Crucible - win or lose, the crucible will re-lock once the player enters it once. If the player dies while inside a Crucible, their gravestone will appear outside the crucible entrance.

The interior of Nightmare Crucibles are wide open, flat areas with almost no obstacles, save for the small Reward Pedestal in the center, and no safe spots for ranged or magic users. There is enough space to run around the arena in a circle and fight enemies from afar, but there is nowhere to hide. It is sometimes possible, depending on the player's positioning, to attract the attention of only a subset of the enemies in a given Crucible at a time.

Награды

Enemies in Nightmare Crucibles do not drop anything upon defeat.

Upon killing all monsters in the Nightmare Crucible, the player is rewarded one ascension core by interacting with the reward pedestal.

Note: Currently there is a bug where if Бадди, summoned from the Pharaoh's Sceptre special attack, is alive, the challenge is not counted as completed. Player must wait for Buddy to despawn for the challenge to complete.

You can despawn Buddy by casting your special with the pharaoh's sceptre
