Дерг-Ду

Дерг-Ду, is an mythical entity that appears in the Beast in the Sand section of Маленький помощник Иктларина, where she guides the Adventurer(s) towards Эфина Заблудшая. The Manafem clan blamed Dearg Due, having watched her linger at the southern edge of the camp. In truth she had sheltered the lost garou through the storm. Once you help Elfina, the Dearg Due moves on from the world, but the sandstorm and her howl remains.

According to Волк и богиня, the Dearg Due was granted immortality by a god who loved her. When she leapt into Kuldra's throat in an attempt to attack her from within, Kuldra instead cursed her with undeath and spat her back into the sands.

The portion of the quest involving the Dearg Due parallels Элидинис' act of mercy during the God Wars. According to the legend, a refugee named Nardarine fled into the Waterless Desert, where Saradomin ignored her prayers. Elidinis instead answered them, providing her with water and food. Likewise, the player finds the lost garou and offers her water, an act of compassion that frees the Dearg Due's spirit.
